Essay About Love

Why love is important in life?

Love is the a beautiful feeling that express honesty, affection and at the
same time friendship. Around the world people are concerned about solutions for many of social problems. The feeling love could be the key for many of that problems. Although, some people do not believe that it is possible. Problems that include world hungry and violence are some example of social matters that love could solve.

The most important reason why love could help the hungry problem around the world is the fact that love ties people together in a way to help each other. First of all, feelings such as, caring about others and helping each other is also included in love. Besides, someone moved by that magic feeling are more likely to do little actions that today's are being more and more rare. For example, to join a non-governmental institute that help people with hungry or even feeding someone who need food is a simple actitude that this feeling incentive people to do. Secondly, the spirit of sharing is not very common in today's world. In fact, people tend to be more selfish and caring less about others. However, love flourish that felling and make people more likely to share what they have. For instance, sharing the half a lanche with someone who do not have or even giving a piece of a fruit are actitudes that people moved by love often do. Therefore, love incentive people do help solving social problems, as hungry, which is just by us and we dont realize.

Another important social matter that love could help to solve is the violence. It is undeniable that the fisrt thing to associate with love is peace. First, that fantastic feeling attach people around with a peaceful sentiment. For example, starting a fight or thinking of taking someone life are thoughts that do not exist when one's are contagious by love. Currently, the world are moved by ambition, revenge and meanness. Usually when you read or watch some news the first headlight that appears is about war, murder or people being killed and there are anywhere to be safe. As an example, a 20 years old student has been killed in Alberta, Canada by a lost bullet two months ago. Actions like that is avoided when love is surrounding people life's.

In conclusion, Love is answer for most of the world question. It is a necessary feeling in life because it is wonderful and magic. Also, it hold people together in way to help and care about each others!

MOVIE ANALYSIS ON MURO-AMI

MOVIE ANALYSIS ON MURO-AMI

NAME OF STUDENT: MA. GRACIELA M. TAGAYUN
SUBJECT: LITERATURE 1
DATE: FEBRUARY 16, 2012
TITLE: MURO-AMI
SUBMITTED TO: PROF. VIVIAN B. BUHAIN
THEME: “Vengeance is not ours” and “Everything has a proportion return or exchange”

I.                   WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PURPOSE OF THIS MOVIE? Based on what I’ve watched, on my own understanding the main goal or purpose of the movie “Muro-Ami” is to show the importance of our nature, specifically the sea where we can search for abundant treasure that serve as living for the people especially for most Filipinos. This movie depicts the widespread of illegal fishing and destroying the corrals. This movie serves as a precaution for everybody for what will happen if the Muro-Ami will be exercise.

Muro Ami (Reef-Hunters) is a Filipino film that depicts one of the worst forms of child labor in the illegal fishing system. Fredo is the ruthless captain of 150 Muro Ami divers. The illegal fishing is done by pounding and crushing corals underwater to scare the fishes and drive them towards the nets. With a high quota to meet, Fredo forces the divers, who consist mostly of children, to accomplish at least eight dives a day to meet their goal before the millennium. Tired and harassed after the burdensome task being given to them, the children have to make do in subhuman conditions in the Muro Ami boat, The Aurora. They sleep in rat-infested bunks and are fed only twice a day. Life above the water in the boat is much worse than the suffering the children encounter beneath the sea. For every dive, a child's life is perilously in danger.
A fisherman's wounded spirit begins to give out as Fredo loses his hold on his livelihood in this drama from the Philippines. The movie gives a good impression of the gruesome child-labor practices even though the truth is even more horrible -- and the destruction brought forth by the illegal fishing practices (and actually leading to accusation that the making of this movie itself also damaged the reef). The movie includes a lot of impressive underwater scenes, and makes a good piece of drama.
II.                DOES THE SUCCEED IN ITS PURPOSE? JUSTIFY YOUR ANSWER. In my own opinion this movie succeeds in its purpose because as a viewer I also learned some lessons in life. The main character, Fredo somehow realizes that “Vengeance is not really ours” it belongs to our beloved God. As he revenge with the sea there is an exchange for his overrule the sea doing the Muro-Ami which put into danger not only the sea creatures but as well as his way of living, taking into consideration that he is a fisherman. What will he catch if they will destroy even the shelter of those unfortunate sea creatures?

III.             A.COMMENT ON THE CHARACTERS:
a.      Cesar Montano (Fredo) is a fisherman who has endured more than his share of hardship in life; his wife and child both perished in a boating accident. He commands a crew of young people from poor families as he takes his rattletrap ship into the ocean in search of fish that live along the reefs, snaring catch with an illegal netting system. He is a man with an eager determination to revenge against the sea. He has a deep pride and power with his words, because as he had said in a line “Walang kakain hangga’t hindi nakukumpleto ang quotang dapat na mahuling isda” he  also had a long anger with the sea as what he said in a line “Pinagdadamutan na naman ako ng dagat” though he is also a man with a kind heart that is was very difficult for him to show it because of his pride as he said in a line “ganun naba ako kasama? Kahit kailan hindi ko sila pinalaki na maging maging ganyan na magnakaw, ang gusto ko lang naman ay matuto sila dahil ayokong maranasan nila kung anong mga naranasan ko noon”.
b.       Pen Medina (Dado) is the father and serves as the consultant of fredo in their travel in the sea. He is a kind father, because he does not consider all of fredo’s decision as he had said in his line “Tama na, hindi ka pa ba napapagod? Kailangan na din bumalik ng mga bata para makasama ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay”. And he love his son that much that whatever happens he is always at the back of fredo giving him the solutions for his problems.
c.       Jhong Hilario (Botong) is a close friend of Fredo who have grown weary of Fredo's tirades, because of the early labor he open his eyes with the reality of life. He began to betray Fredo by keeping some money in his pocket. He does not have a conscience as he kill an innocence child. And he keep on blaming Fredo of what he had been as what he said “Oo, matagal na akong nangungupit sayo, pero kung sino ako ngayon dib a ikaw din ang may kasalanan?”
d.      Amy Austria (Susan) is the love interest of Fredo, but she does not love Fredo as if all that happened with the two of them is just a game that she betray Fredo as she make love with botong just to set her free. As she said in a line “Wag mo akong subukang mahalin dahil magsisisi ka lamang sapagkat hindi ako marunong magmahal

B.COMMENT ON THE PLOT:
In my own opinion the plot of this movie is well organized that gives the story some thrill; we can learn some lessons with the life of Fredo as well as his revenge against the sea. This movie succeeds in making as aware what will happen if illegal fishing like Muro-Ami is still exercise by those fishermen.

C.COMMENT ON THE SETTING:
The setting of the story was so magnificent and fantastic with this movie we can mentally travel in some part of Bohol, where this film took place. Muro-Ami was shot primarily at sea, and is distinguished by its fine photography and vivid portrayal of the fisherman's life. As a viewer I can really appreciate the beauty of the Philippines that we need to care. We need to treasure our nature because if we will continue to destroy it we are directly penetrating all the sufferings. It is not a joke if the nature will revenge against us.

Short Biography of Sidney Sheldon

  Short Biography of Sidney Sheldon
“Sidney Schechtel” Sheldon was born in Chicago Illinois USA on February 17, 1917. He began writing as a youngster and at the age of ten he made his first sale of a poem for $10. During the Depression, he worked at a variety of jobs and while attending Northwestern University he contributed short plays to drama groups.

At seventeen, he decided to try his luck in Hollywood. The only job he could find was as a reader of prospective film material at Universal Pictures for $22 a week. At night he wrote his own screenplays and was able to sell one called "South of Panama," to the studio for $250 in 1941.

During World War II, he served as a pilot in the Army Air Corps. After the war he established a reputation as being a prolific writer in the New York theater community. At one point during this career he had three musicals on
Broadway including a rewritten version of "The Merry Widow," "Jackpot" and "Dream with Music." Eventually he received a Tony award as part of the writing team for the Gwen Verdon hit "Redhead" which brought to the attention of Hollywood.

His first assignment after his return to Hollywood was
The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (1947) starring Cary Grant, Myrna Loy and Shirley Temple, which won him an Academy Award for best original screenplay of 1947.

In his 1982 interview he described his years under contract with MGM as, "I never stopped working. One day
Dore Schary (who was then production head) looked at a list of MGM projects currently under production and noted that I had written eight of them, more than three other writers put together. That afternoon, he made me a producer."

In the early 1960s when the movie industry was hurting because of television's popularity, Sheldon decided to make a switch. "I suppose I needed money," he remembered. "I met
Patty Duke one day at lunch and stated producing "The Patty Duke Show," (that starred Duke playing two identical cousins). I did something nobody else in TV ever did at that time. For seven years, I wrote almost every single episode of the series."

His next series was "I Dream of Jeannie," which he also created as well as produced, lasted five seasons, 1965-1970. The show concerned an astronaut,
Larry Hagman, who lands on a desert island and discovers a bottle containing a beautiful, 2,000-year-old genie, played by Barbara Eden, who accompanies him back to Florida and eventually marries her.

According to Sheldon it was "During the last year of "I Dream of Jeannie," I decided to try a novel. Each morning from 9 until noon, I had a secretary at the studio take all calls. I mean every single call. I wrote each morning or rather, dictated and then I faced the TV business." The result was "The Naked Face," which was scorned by book reviewers but sold 21,000 copies in hardcover. The novel scored even bigger in paperback, where it reportedly sold 3.1 million copies. Thereafter Sheldon name would continually be on the best-seller lists, often reigning on top for months at a time.

Sheldon's books including titles like "Rage of Angels," "The Other Side of Midnight," "Master of the Game" and "If Tomorrow Comes," provided him with his greatest fame. They featured cleverly plots with sensuality and a high degree of suspense, a device that kept fans from being unable to putting his books down.

In a 1982 interview Sheldon told of how he created his novels; "I try to write my books so the reader can't put them down. I try to construct them so when the reader gets to the end of a chapter, he or she has to read just one more chapter. It's the technique of the old Saturday afternoon serial: leave the guy hanging on the edge of the cliff at the end of the chapter."

Explaining why so many women bought his books, he once commented that: "I like to write about women, who are talented and capable, but most important, retain their femininity. Women have tremendous power, their femininity, because men can't do without it."

Sheldon had few fans among highbrow critics, whose reviews of his books were generally reproachful of both Sheldon and his readers. Sheldon however remained undeterred, promoting the novels and himself with warm enthusiasm.

A big, cheerful man, he bragged about his work habits. Unlike other novelists who toil over typewriters or computers, Sheldon would dictate fifty pages a day to a secretary or a tape machine. He would correct the pages the following day and dictate another fifty pages continuing the routine until he had between 1,200 to 1,500 pages. "Then I would do a complete rewrite 12 to 15 times," he said. "Sometimes I would spend a whole year rewriting."

Sheldon prided himself on the authenticity of his novels. During a 1987 interview he remarked that: "If I write about a place, I have been there. If I write about a meal in Indonesia, I have eaten there in that restaurant. I don't think you can fool the reader."

For his novel "Windmills of the Mind," that dealt with the CIA, he interviewed former CIA chief Richard Helms, traveled to Argentina and Romania, and spent a week in Junction City, Kansas where the book's heroine had lived.

After a career that had earned him a Tony, an Oscar and an Emmy (for "I Dream of Jeannie"), Sheldon declared that his work as a novelist was his best work. "I love writing books," he once commented. "Movies are a collaborative medium, and everyone is second-guessing you. When you do a novel you're on your own. It's a freedom that doesn't exist in any other medium."Several of his novels became television miniseries, often with the Sheldon severing as producer.

He was married for more than 30 years to Jorja Curtright Sheldon, a stage and film actress who later became a prominent interior decorator. After her death in 1985 he married
Alexandra Sheldon, a former child actress and advertising executive, in 1989.

Sheldon died January 30, 2007 of complications from pneumonia at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California according with his wife, Alexandra, was by his side.

Along with his wife, Sheldon was survived by his daughter, author Mary Sheldon; his brother Richard and two grandchildren.

IBALON EPIC FROM BICOL

TAGAYUN, MARIA GRACIELA MAQUEMA 2-BSA1
IBALON EPIC FROM BICOL
Narrator: A long time ago, there was a rich land called Ibalong. Located at the southeastern of Luzon (Bicol Region) the hero Baltog, who came from Botavora of the brave clan of Lipod, came to this land when many monsters were still roaming in its very dark forests. He decided to stay and was the first to cultivate its field and to plant them with gabi.
Then one night….
(A monstrous, wild boar known as Tandayag saw these field and destroyed the crops).
Tandayag (Boar): what a great field! Full of Gabi. I think I going to eat all of this, I’m hungry!
Baltog: what a mess? What happened to my field? I will kill who ever made this.
Narrator: Upon knowing this, Baltog decided to look for this boar with all his courage and patient. At last, as soon as he saw it, he fearlessly wrestled with it, with all his might. Baltog was unafraid. He was strong and brave.
Baltog: well, well, well you! Hungry boar that destroyed my field…..
Tandayag: oh! So you were the owner of that field which made me so happy last night J
Baltog: you will pay for what you’ve did! I will kill you!
(Though the Tandayag had very long fangs, he was able to pin down the monstrous, wild boar and break apart its very big jawbones. With this, Tandayag fell and died).
After the fight…..
Narrator: Baltog went to his house in Tondol, carrying the Tandaya'g broken bones. Then he hung it on a talisay tree in front of his house. Upon learning of the victory of their Chief Baltog, the people prepared a feast and celebrated. The very big jawbones of the dead boar became an attraction for everyone. Thus, came the tribes of Panikwason and Asog to marvel it.
Baltog: These broken bones came from a monstrous boar that destroyed my field! I killed it because I don’t want that the mess that had happened to field will to happen once again.
People: (applauded for what Baltog said) we shall celebrate for the heroism of Baltog!
Narrator: The second hero who came to the land of Ibalong was Handyong. Together with his men, he had to fight thousands of battles, and face many dangers to defeat the monster. As warriors, they first fought the one-eyed monster with the tree necks in the land of Ponong. For ten months, they fought without rest. And they never stopped fighting until all these monsters were killed.  Handyong and his men made their next attack against the giant flying sharks called Triburon which had hardly flesh and sawlike teeth that could crush rocks. They continued fighting until the defeat of the last Triburon.  They also tamed the wild carabaos. They even drove away the giant and very fierce Sarimao which had very sharp fingernails. And using their spears and arrows, they killed all the crocodiles which were as big as boats. With all these killings, the rivers and swamps of Ibalong turned red with blood. It was at this time that the savage monkeys became frightened and hid themselves.  Among the enemies of Handyong and his men, the serpent Oryol was the hardest to kill. Having a beautiful voice, Oryol could change its image to deceive its enemies.
Men of Handyong: I think we’ll take hard time to kill Oryol! Because of its undeniably beautiful voice!
Handyong: we’ll tried every different ways that I know just to capture Oryol, but he can still escaped and everyone of it disappeared.
Men of Handyong: we’ll quit for this time! We don’t think we can still help you. We don’t want to risk our lives just for nothing!
Narrator: So alone and unafraid, Handyong decide to look for Oryol in the heart of the forest. He followed the beautiful voice and was almost enchanted by it in his pursuit. Days and nights passed until Oryol came to admire Handyong's bravery and gallantry. Then the serpent helped the hero to conquer monsters, thus restoring peace to the entire Ibalong.
Oryol: what a brave man!
Handyong: when will you stop ruining our lives? You know you had a great voice that enchanted me if you will use it in a nice way you can help me save the Ibalong J
Oryol; I admire you for your bravery hands up with you! Because of that I will try to help you defeat other monster and protect the Ibalong!
Handyong: really? That’s great!
Narrator: In one the areas of Ibalong called Ligmanan, Handyong built a town. Under his leadership and his laws, slaves and masters were treated equally. The people planted rice and because of their high regard of him they named this rice after him. He built the first boat to ride the waves of Ibalong's seas. Through his good example, his people became inspired and came up with their own inventions. There was Kimantong who made the plow, harrow and other farming tools. Hablom who invented the first loom for weaving abaca clothes, Dinahongm an Agta, who created the stove, cooking pot, earthen jar and other kitchen utensils, and Sural who brilliantly thought of syllabary and started to write on a marble rock. This was a golden period in Ibalong.
(Then suddenly, there came a big flood caused by Unos, with terrifying earthquakes. The volcanoes of Hantik, Kulasi and Isarog erupted. Rivers changed their direction and the seas waves rolled high. Destruction was everywhere. Soon, the earth parted, mountains sank, a lake was formed, and many towns in Ibalong were ruined).
Narrator: Then appeared the giant Rabot, half-man and half-beast, with awesome and terrifying powers.
People were asking who will fight against Rabot. So Bantong, the third hero was called. He was a good friend of Handyong. He was ordered to kill the new monster on Ibalong.
People: Bantong, your one of the good friend of Handyong. We need your help just to save the Ibalong Land.
Bantong: I know that it is my obligation to serve you all! Now it’s my turn to save my people and my land J
Narrator: To do this, he took with him a thousand warriors to attack Rabot's den. But using his wisdom against Rabot, he did not attack the giant right away. He first observed Rabot's ways. Looking around the giant's den, he discovered that there were many rocks surrounding it, and these were the people who were turned into rocks by Rabot.  Bantong also learned that Rabot loved to sleep during the day and stayed awake at night.
Bantong: now I know what your weakness is!
(So, he waited. When Rabot was already sleeping very soundly, Bantong came hear him. He cut the giant into two with his very sharp bolo and without any struggle, Rabot died. So Ibalong was at peace once more).

BOOK REVIEW

 BOOK REVIEW
TITLE: THE BEST-LAID PLANS
AUTHOR: SIDNEY SHELDON
NUMBER OF PAGES: 344 PAGES
THEME: “VENGEANCE IS NOT OURS

I.                   WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PURPOSE OF THE AUTHOR IN WRITING THIS NOVEL? Based on what I’ve read, on my own understanding the main goal or purpose of the author why he wrote this novel dealing with two main ideas; about revenge and peace! The author emphasizes the saying “Vengeance is not ours” meaning, it is not always right to revenge to those people who did something unkind to us or hurt us for their own sake or personal benefit in life. Vengeance do not lay in our hands we do not have the power or right to give them their punishments for what they had done to us, we have limitations and take note for the fact that “Nobody is perfect” and there are some circumstances that we feel our inferiority and we cant escape those weaknesses of ours and we committed some cruel things to other people just for our own good, the author wants to make us know or learn to consider others, and put in mind that we have our Almighty God who is superior in all aspects, all that we need to do is to have faith in Him. Like what the bible said; “Love your enemies” and believe that there will be a time that God will give that person the punishments for those sins that they committed on to you. Like what they say lucky are those who suffer, because God is always there to help you. We need to learn how to forgive, our Almighty God is a concrete and good example, He knows how to forgive us for all those sins that we committed unto Him, how come that we can’t? Do not lay the justice in your own hands because you are just still a human being and is prone to commit mistakes, who knows if you will go on your own, there is a tendency that you will going to fail or loose in the first place, like in this story, when Oliver Russell committed a sin to Leslie Stewart, for not marrying her and by marrying other woman who can help her to get his fame and to be elected as a governor even as high as the position of the president, take note not just a president of an ordinary country but a president of the most powerful country the United State of America, and that plans of Oliver had been taken for granted with the idea of hurting Leslie, the woman that he love, on the other hand Leslie Stewart do everything just to put down or destroy Oliver’s name in the political industry, and make Oliver’s feel that he had not been born, however even the best laid plans can go dangerously astray-in a deadly dangerous way.
World peace” the author made it a point that peace is very important, maybe the author wants to promote world peace. I like the line that Oliver said; “what’s important is not how long a president stays in his office, but what he does when he’s in it”. Nowadays, peace is very much important especially here in our country mentioning those conflicts between Muslims and Christians that led to everlasting war, with the fact that they are both Filipinos, we need to have peace with one another and end those wars and start anew, it’s not to late, all that we need to do is love and accept one another and aim for one goal, in a progressive country, like what Muslims always say “ashalah malaikum” meaning peace be unto you.

II.                DOES HE SUCCEED IN HIS PURPOSE? JUSTIFY YOUR ANSWER. In my own opinion the author succeeds in his purpose in writing this novel because in the end of this story Leslie Stewart learned her lessons in life. She somehow realizes that “Vengeance is not really ours” it belongs to our beloved God. Todd Davis also learned his lesson that there is more important than power and that is Peace with one another that are the essence of this novel.

III.             A.COMMENT ON THE CHARACTERS:
a.       Leslie Stewart is an ambitious PR executive, learns that for some men power is the greatest aphrodisiac.
b.      Oliver Russell is wise president for his accomplishment, and finds out why hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

B.COMMENT ON THE PLOT:
In my own opinion the plot of this novel is well organized that gives the story some thrill; you will be surprise in the ending because the man that you know to be the root of all evil is not! With the style of the author this novel have made fantastic and full of thrilling experience.

C.COMMENT ON THE SETTING:
The setting of the story was so magnificent and fantastic with this novel you can mentally travel in some part of America specifically at the white house the place that everybody has been dreaming of.

IV.             WOULD YOU LIKE TO READ ANOTHER NOVEL BY THE SAME AUTHOR? JUSTIFY YOUR ANSWER. Definitely yes, of course I really want to read novel by the same author; by Sidney Sheldon because I want his style of writing and I like his choice of words, you can easily understand the words because the words are not that unfamiliar that you can see in the story how intelligent and imaginative the author was! Actually it is the first novel that I tend to finish because I cant finish some novels of other author because they used many unfamiliar words that really irritating me and not to finish reading it because I find it boring. Sidney Sheldon is really great, a great writer that he had published a lot of bestseller novels of all times, I am very interested with his novels because in his writings we can learn many things, lessons and ideas about the reality of life and with his novels we van mentally travel around globe and learn a lot of things. Actually I wanted to have some collections of his novels someday and I think this would be a great hobby hopefully.

My Autobiography

My Autobiography
I first saw the light on the dawn of June 20, 1994 a precious gift of God to my parents. Maria Graciela Maquema Tagayun was the eldest child of Mr. Falcon Madria Tagayun Sr. and Mrs. Joyce Maquema Tagayun, from a simple family living peacefully in the beautiful province of Isabela I grew up having a strong faith with God because our religion is Iglesia Ni Cristo. I had a younger sister Flordelize M. Tagayun and two younger brothers Falcon M. Tagayun Jr. and Jobert Andre’ M. Tagayun.
Life is a continuous journey, it is an adventure indeed. I live through my simple but wonderful life having a great satisfaction not on material needs that I want but on the people who played a great role in my precious life. If other people will tell something about me, the first thing that they will say is that I am a jolly person, a person who love to laugh and always wanted to be happy, but behind those laughers and smiles are tears that I kept just to pretend that I am always  alright.
Way back in my childhood, it is a good experience to be a young child who always loves to play. My parents brought me up to be a God-fearing person, for me, the best thing that I inherited with my parents is not wealth or any material aspects here in earth but the spiritual pursuits that they taught us even at a young age. Since childhood, they already taught me the importance of religion in our lives, and that God is the only one who is always there in times that we feel that we are at the bottom that we have God that is always there to give us guidance, that’s why at a young age it is a practice for us to join any program in the church, having an obligation and always going to worship. Until now that I am mature enough to think, my obligation in church has been a part of me this is the reason why I can say that I am a strong, better and full-grown girl in my respective way.
There is one thing that my classmates do not know about me and that is I am a “Lolo’s girl. I love my grandfather so much that is he is the only person whom I openly say my problems but when he passed away, because of God’s will it is hard for me to accept his absence, it seems that this was the worst thing happened in my life. Even how hard it was to accept that my grandfather was gone, I somehow, realize how lucky I am for having such kind and loving Lolo, my grandfather left us physically but his presence is always here in my heart, in our hearts forever I believe that he is always there to guide us that’s why my lolo is my inspiration, all the things that I have earned was all because of him. God knows how much I love my lolo but I believe that God always had a good purpose in everything that he had made.
Since I was in my young age, I used dream of becoming a medical doctor someday, but all of a sudden that ambition had change and turns into a will of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Schooling is our foundation in the future, what I’ve learned in this school and my former institutions are much needed in order for me to make my dreams come true. I hope that I can full-fill my dreams someday in God’s will and control, and I think with being hard-working, with my determination and faith my dreams will come true someday if God’s will.
For 17 years of travelling here in this precious paradise, every day I encounter different faces personalities and perceptions of people in this kaleidoscope. Many became part of my life and adventure but there were much more who preferred to ignore and left me behind, though I am so much happy and completely contented of what I have. My family which play as my greatest endeavor and the main reason why I am still continuing my battle here in this world. My friends which serve as my greatest companion and shield against my enemies. My special someone who is my knight in shining armor and always there whenever I need a shoulder to lean on.  Above all, our Almighty God who gifted me my life and strength to face all the obstacles and challenges in my life.

ON MY LIPS

ON MY LIPS
 (BY; MA. GRACIELA TAGAYUN)

God gave me a pair of eyes
To appreciate the beauty of things around me.
He gave me a pair of hands to do work intensely.
A pair of ears to hear the sounds whispering around me.
A pair of feet to walk on the right path
And a lips to speak words of GOD.

As I look at the mirror
I see reflections of error
Things troubling on my mind
Miseries of things that I’ve done.

Everyone of us has our own lips
Used not to hurt nor to harm
But to inspire and to teach.
For every words that will come out in our lips
Is a reflection of our dignity and personality.

As a child of GOD,
I speak not to hurt nor to harm
But to inspire and teach.
Singing the harmonies of His Church
As I stood beyond the crowd.
For every word that will come out on my lips
Is a reflection of what is in my heart, mind and soul
Which our Almighty GOD gave it all.
